Govinfo, launched in Beta in February 2016 by United States Government Publishing Office (GPO), has published their September 2016 Release Notes. September release notes highlight the effort to optimize code to improve the performance and stability of existing site functionality.
Govinfo provides free public access to over one million documents from all three branches of the federal government. Govinfo will eventually replace FDsys, but both will remain available throughout the govinfo beta phase and provide access to the same official, preserved content.
